ALL OUR PROGRAMS IN KAMCHATKA ARE SUITABLE FOR USUAL TOURISTS, JUST LOVING WILD NATURE AND ACTIVE WAY OF LIFE.
ALL OF THEM ARE CONSTRUCTED OF SOME SEPARATE "BRICKS" WHICH COULD BE REPLACED, MOVED AND IT IS POSSIBLE TO CONSTRUCT ANY ANOTHER DIFFERENT ITINERARIES.

This tour includes visits to the THREE MOST magnificent volcanoes in the southern part of Kamchatka - Avachinsky (option), Gorely, Mutnovsky and rafting down the river Bystraya.
This route is for the active individuals in good health condition, enjoying backpacking and rafting. The members should have the personal sleeping bags, sunglasses, repellent, waterproof shoes, raincoats, warm clothes.
Tourists are provided with the three meals per day on the route, tents, rafts, guide, AND ASSISTANTS.
1 day | Arrival to Moscow. Meeting and transfer. Accommodation is in the hotels "Cosmos", **** or "Izmailovo", ***, DBL, BB. Free time in Moscow or optional excursions. |
2 day | Breakfast in the hotel. Sightseeing excursion around Moscow during transfer to Domodedovo a/p or SVO-1. Flight to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. |
3 day | Arrival to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (PK) from Moscow. Accommodation is at the rest base or econom hotel, DBL. Rest. |
4 day | Drive to the base camp “Mutnovsky” (100 km, 4-5 hours). |
5 day | Hiking to the crater of the volcano (22 km totally, appr 10 hours). Mutnovsky volcano - is one of the marvelous and interesting volcanoes of Kamchatka where you can go into the crater and investigate it. Light lunch during hiking, dinner in the camp, overnight in the tents. |
6 day | Dismantling the camp. Drive one hour in the direction of Gorely Volcano. Hiking to the Gorely volcano. Climbing (10 km, 5-6 hours). The Gorely volcano is an active one and looks like volcanic range that consists of several craters with greenish-blue acid hot lake in one of them. Light lunch during hiking. Then return by bus to rest base in Paratunka. Accommodation is at the rest base. |
7 day | Driving to the village of Malky (120 km, 2-3 hours). A visit to the Malky hot springs. Lunch. The start of rafting (2-3 hours) of the Bystraya river. FB, tents, rafts. |
8 day | Rafting (6-8 hours) While rafting you'll see salmon leaping from the crystal-clear water. If you're lucky - you'll see the Kamchatka brown bear - one of the biggest in the world. During rafting you'll have a light lunch. In the evening you'll reach a good place for camping. Fishing is possible for additional cost. Dinner with the traditional fish-soup - “Uha”. FB, tents, rafts. |
9 day | Rafting (4-5 hours) up to the Karymaisky bridge where the car will be waiting for you. Here you`ll have a light lunch. Then, return to hotel in PK (250 km, 4 hours). Overnight in Paratunka or in the hotel in PK. |
10 day | Helicopter excursion to the Valley of Geysers (breakfast, picnic). Overnight in Paratunka or in the hotel in PK. |
11 day | Sea walk by motorboat around Avachinskaya Bay (breakfast, picnic) |
12 day | Breakfast and transfer to airport Elizovo. Seeing off in a\p.Fligt to Moscow. Arrival to Moscow and transfer to the hotel (“Cosmos” or “Izmailovo”). |
13 day | Transfer to airport and seeing off. |
OPTIONAL AVACHA VOLCANO CLIMBING
1 day | An excursion about the PK. A visit to the Regional Museum (1hour), sightseeing of the city (historical places, shops), lunch (1hour). Departure to the base camp “Avacha” by off road truck (50 km, 2,5 hour). The base camp “Avacha” is situated on the saddle (at altitude 900 m) between Avachinsky (2 741 m) and Koryaksky (3 456 m) volcanoes in the zone of the alpine meadows. Acclimatization hiking to the saddle (2-3 hs). Dinner is after hiking. Tents. |
2 day | Climbing the Avachinsky volcano (2 741 m, 9-10 hours). While climbing you`ll have an exiting sight of the Pacific Ocean coast, Avacha and Nalychevo Valleys, the nearby volcanoes. At the altitude of 2 100 m you`ll have a light lunch. At the summit you'll see the recent lava flows in February 1991 and feel the warm and the heart of Earth. Then, return to the rest base in Paratunka or hotel in PK. |
The helicopter excursion to Valley of Geysers only in case of a good weather.

- Required registration to control migration offices in Russia (OVIR)
- Authorization for entry into the border zone (apply must be no later than 60 days prior to entry into this area)
- Authorization for entry into the National Park
- 1 night in the double hotel room with half board
- Consultation with mountain guide after arrival on site in Russian or English
Personal equipment: tourists should have own: rucksack for personal things, trekking boots, warm clothes for climbing volcanoes, sleeping bag, caremat, waterproof coat, sport warm cap, gloves, water bottle, light, repellent against mosquitoes, personal medical kit, sunglasses.
No special mountaineering equipment is needed.
